I had the pleasure of working with this lovely family last summer when they were all together and was thrilled when they hired me again this summer to record some of their family time. Haven’t these girls grown? They were just as adorable this summer as last, and the change in location to a spot up the canyon in Three Rivers was just lovely. I see many more sessions at this gorgeous location in my future!

Goodness, what a treat these little dolls were! Since they were already seven weeks old, I was quite concerned that these adorable little twins would not be very easy to photograph. Older newborns are notoriously difficult–most seem to “wake up” around two weeks and refuse to curl, sleep, or stay posed for any length of time. And with two babies to settle and soothe, we really had our work cut out for us. Happily, these girls gave us a lovely combination of wide awake and sleeping time with beautiful results. Enjoy!
I’ve had several requests and questions this fall about mini-sessions, just to update a family photo for holiday cards. I didn’t think I was going to be able to fit them in this year, but with everything flowing so smoothly this fall, I’m thrilled to open up the next two Saturdays for minis! 
I expect these to go quickly, so please don’t hesitate to jump on this if you’re interested. Since I’m doing such a limited number, I’d hate for the ones who’ve been asking about minis to miss out.
These collection prices built to include a 30-35% savings off regular Jani Photography portrait session prices–I can offer this only because of the volume of minis I’m planning on doing. They are limited to one immediate family or sibling set only–no cousins or extended relatives can be included in these sessions, since they will be taking place in such a small window of time. There seems to have been a boom in baby boys lately–I haven’t photographed a newborn baby girl since my own was born 18 months ago! But I’ll take all these sleepy, adorable baby boys I can get. With the wrinkles and the curling and the sweet new baby smell, I think these sessions are truly my favorite to do.
This little guy has been dubbed “baby Rice” by his youngest big brother (seen here) and is really the sweetest thing. With three great big brothers to join and his loving parents, this guy is clearly blessed.
