Sometime around mid-November it starts. Sparly twinkle lights glowing in the twilight adorn places–homes and vacant lots alike. Stores turn into red-and-green bazaars with iridescent, scented masterpieces that whisper “Take me home, I’ll look perfect on your mantel/wall/front door.” Frost covers the grass and plants, turning a simple yard into fairyland. And constantly running through my brain (complete with supporting orchestra and rich crooner’s voice) is the phrase, “It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas!”
